The mission of Vision of Life Transitional Living Program is to provide a training and transitional housing facility that provides young adults and youth ages 18-26 youth aging out of foster care and reentering the community from incarceration with the tools, training and resources necessary to decrease their chances of homelessness, joblessness, and recidivism to allow them  to successfully transition into adulthood.

Letter From The Founder

Welcome! My name is Martha March Founder of Vision of Life, Inc. Our 501c3 nonprofit organization has been in existence since 2009 providing and offering supportive programs to at-risk youth, youth aging out of foster care or re-entering the community after incarceration.  My B.S. degree in Human Service, along with 5-years’ experience is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), ignited my passion and commitment as the ‘Voice of Children’, and young adults. We have collaborated with the Philip Miler Foundation, Empowerment, MAAC, Douglasville Juvenile Detention Center, Nicholas Center, Youth Villages, and Recovery Unlimited. We hold membership with the Douglasville Chamber of Commerce and participate in Georgia Give Day. 

 

Vision Of Life, Inc.  trains young adults for two months who are re-entering the community from juvenile detention, of any young adult who are looking for job training. We also educate them with financial literacy skills, Customer service, life skills. Community Partners support us by proving gainful employment with our mission to help them “ Discover Their Potential” 2019 Vision of Life currently collaborate with Douglasville jail with the re-entry initiative.

Gabrielle Smith Certified Life and Relationship Coach with a BA in Computer Information Systems and Masters in Business Administration she serves on the board as the Coordinator ensuring the flow of activities and correspondence within the organization.
